As we scale, we’re looking for a visionary business leader to own and grow all revenue channels—online and offline.


Job Description:


We’re looking for a highly strategic and execution-focused Head of Business – Omnichannel to drive dhartii’s growth across all customer touchpoints: D2C, marketplaces, and offline retail. You will lead the business P&L, build scalable systems across channels, and launch dhartii’s offline presence across India—from flagship stores to pop-ups.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Develop and execute the overall e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's goals, considering market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Site Merchandising: Optimising site merchandising strategies & processes to enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Online Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective online marketing campaigns, promotions, and optimisation of the e-commerce platform.
  • Website Management: Oversee the day-to-day management of the e-commerce website, including product catalogue management, pricing, inventory management, and order processing.
  • Operations Planning: Develop and execute the company’s operations processes and maintain the standard of procedure in every department.
  • Operations Performance: develop and maintain the performance of the organisation and review the KPIs of the department to improve the performance.
  • Inventory Management: regular monitoring of inventory level and the accuracy of stock management. Regularly maintaining the stock sheet to plan the inventory cycle.
  • D2C Customer Experience Enhancement: Continuously analyse customer behaviour, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance the website's customer experience, conversion rate, and customer retention.
  • D2C Sales Strategy: develop and execute sales strategy for all the online channels/platforms including D2C and e-commerce/marketplaces. Regular monitoring and tracking of online business performance to improve the sales of the organization.
  • Digital Marketing: Develop and implement digital marketing initiatives, including email marketing and social media advertising, to increase online visibility and drive traffic to the e-commerce platform.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to online sales, customer behaviour, and marketing campaigns. Generate reports and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, logistics, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations, resolve issues, and optimize the end-to-end e-commerce process.
  • Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors' strategies, and emerging technologies in the e-commerce space. Make recommendations to stay competitive and adopt new tools or platforms when necessary.
  • Digital Compliance and Security for D2C: Ensure compliance with legal requirements, data protection regulations, and security standards for online transactions and customer data.
  • Own the overall business performance across D2C, marketplaces, and offline retail.
  • Drive topline growth and profitability across all channels.
  • Build revenue forecasts, channel-specific targets, and optimize for margins and cash flow.


Retail Business:

  • Retail Business Strategy: Develop and execute the overall retail business strategy including the retail or franchise business model aligned with the company's vision, considering market trends, customer needs, and product pricing.
  • Retail Store Planning: Planning and finding the store site/location, visual merchandising of the store, framing and implementing brand store guidelines.
  • Retail Price Strategy: develop the retail price strategy for the retail stores and keep tracking the performance of the product prices.
  • Operations management: develop and execute the retail operations standard of procedures and keep reviewing the processes followed by the retail team.
  • Retail Operations Performance: regularly monitoring & reviewing the store’s performance to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of the retail business.
  • Customer Experience: Develop and implement healthy & remarkable customer experience at the stores. Maintaining a high standard and premium store experience.
  • Customer Retention: design & develop the retail promotion offers, customer loyalty program, and new initiatives to attract and retain the customers with the brand.
  • Retail Business Performance: Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retail sales, customer experience & behaviour, and offline marketing campaigns. Generate reports and provide insights to improve business performance.
  • Retail Sales Management: Work closely with retail sales teams to ensure alignment with retail sales performance, optimising the customer journey and driving sales across retail stores.

 

  

Qualifications and Requirements:

  •  10–15 years of experience in scaling high-growth fashion, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
  • Experience managing offline retail expansion + digital channel growth.
  • Strong commercial acumen with hands-on P&L and channel ownership.
  • Deep understanding of Indian fashion consumers and the retail/e-commerce landscape.
  • Analytical, execution-focused, and capable of building and scaling teams from the ground up.
  • Hustler mindset with the ability to think strategically and roll up sleeves when needed.
