Summary

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Electromechanical Field Support Engineer to provide technical support and project leadership for high-speed printing and imaging systems. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, hands-on experience with complex electromechanical systems, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional, global team environment. This is a key position for those who enjoy working at the intersection of technology, data, and customer engagement. You will play a significant role in field support, lab operations, and product improvement initiatives, while contributing to business-critical projects. Key Responsibilities * Develop engineering plans to meet product or process requirements under broad objectives. * Lead or contribute to moderately complex technical projects involving design, analysis, and testing. * Solve technical problems and propose innovative designs for electromechanical systems. * Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for lab activities, including testing, data collection, and troubleshooting. * Serve as a liaison with internal stakeholders, customers, and third-party vendors to resolve technical issues. * Coordinate and mentor junior engineers, technicians, or lab staff, as appropriate. * Document work thoroughly and communicate progress, results, and technical challenges. * Ensure timely completion of technical objectives within budget and quality guidelines. * Apply professional judgment in managing engineering tools, processes, and priorities. * Participate in or lead activities focused on improving procedures, systems, and technologies. * Support field deployments, installations, and customer escalations as needed. Qualifications * Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field). * 10+ years of engineering experience, preferably in electromechanical systems or printing/imaging technologies. * Proven success in leading lab-based and/or field-based engineering initiatives. * Familiarity with high-speed digital printing systems is a strong plus. Skills & Competencies * Strong knowledge of engineering principles, tools, and processes. * Ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical systems. * Experience working with cross-functional, international teams. * Excellent analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills. * Clear and effective written and verbal communication. * Ability to coach and coordinate technical teams. * Capable of independently managing tasks and adapting to changing priorities. * Demonstrated leadership in engineering projects or lab operations. Working Conditions & Physical Demands * Regular travel required (25%+), including international assignments. * Ability to work in lab and customer site environments, adhering to safety and compliance standards. * Must be able to handle multiple tasks, adjust to new tools and systems, and meet deadlines under pressure. * Expected to demonstrate ownership of assignments, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, and remain adaptable to evolving work environments.
