ABOUT THE JOB

This position will deliver security technology services, encompassing daily BAU activities, strategy, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of technological solutions to fulfill business requirements.

• Lead and mentor security engineers working with mainframe platforms.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build strong relationships to facilitate the effective implementation of technical strategies.
• Utilize technical expertise and judgment to define and implement solutions that address business needs.
• Provide guidance and assurance in the design of solutions that align with established strategies and objectives.
• Collaborate with systems users to identify changes in requirements that enhance efficiency, integration, or cost savings.
• Support project goals by offering expertise and technical assurance for key system components, ensuring design integrity and supporting cost analysis.
• Conduct technical evaluations of products, tools, techniques, and methods to meet business objectives.
• Offer technical insights for design specifications of major computer systems and provide consultative support for their implementation.
• Contribute to the development of technical strategies.
• Engage in project work while maintaining support in a "business as usual" environment.
• Apply technical knowledge to comprehend the effects of technology changes and operations on the effectiveness and integrity of managed IT systems.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of risk management, controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Possess strong knowledge of policies, regulations, and obligations relevant to technology and the supporting business operations.
• Maintain a focus on quality and attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent documentation and communication skills.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Must Have:

• Proven leadership experience with a team of 5 or more members, including those at graduate and intern levels.
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps or Mainframe Engineering.
• Fundamental professional experience in a relevant field.
• Experience in the Financial Services Industry is a plus.

Specific:

• Proficiency in JCL (Job Control Language) coding.
• Expertise in SAS (Statistical Analysis System) programming.
• Knowledge of ISPF (Interactive System Productivity Facility) and ISPF Dialogue Management Services.
• Familiarity with SDSF (Spool Display Search Facility).
• Expertise in RACF Security, including conducting security control design reviews to ensure compliance with organizational standards.
• Background or exposure in Audit, Risk, and Controls.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Nice to Have:

• Implement and uphold security best practices in daily responsibilities.
• 3-5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Cyber Security, with a focus on IAM.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for process improvements within the team.
• Proactively identify, report, and address risk remediation tasks relevant to the role.
• Engage in the investigation and resolution of potential security incidents in IT systems.
• Contribute to the development and promotion of IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
