Job Title: Snr. Manager - Group Reporting

I’m currently working with a growing retail company looking for a Snr. Manager - Group Reporting. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of group accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead the group accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all entities within the company.
2. Manage the year-end audit process, liaising with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
3. Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
4. Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
5. Provide technical accounting guidance to senior management and other finance teams.
6. Continuously review and improve internal controls and processes to minimize risk and maximize efficiency.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
8. Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
9. Mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as required.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (from audit) with post qualified experience managing a group accounting team. Furthermore, you must have a strong technical knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and experience in preparing consolidated financial statements.
