This is a standout opportunity for someone who thrives in complexity and wants to make a real mark in a global fintech business.

About the Business

This fintech scale-up is shaking up the global payments market. With a complex structure spanning multiple legal entities, they’re looking for a consolidation and reporting expert to take the reins on group-level reporting, audits, and process optimisation.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be the engine behind accurate, timely, and compliant reporting across the group. Expect a mix of ownership, collaboration, and smart automation as you work with finance leaders and global teams to deliver investor-ready results.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading monthly and quarterly consolidation processes, including eliminations, FX adjustments, and equity accounting
  • Managing inter-company reconciliations, subsidiary reporting, and treatment of complex transactions like mergers, acquisitions, and liquidations
  • Preparing IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements and disclosures for multiple group structures
  • Coordinating with external auditors during interim and year-end audits
  • Supporting interim and annual report production across all legal entities
  • Ensuring compliance with IFRS, local GAAPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Acting as a go-to finance partner for investor relations, business control, and the wider leadership team
  • Driving continuous improvements to close timelines, reporting accuracy, and system usage
  • Supporting process automation and data quality initiatives (e.g., Workiva, SAP, OneStream)
  • Helping onboard new entities into group consolidation scope as the business expands globally

What You Bring

  • 5–7 years of experience in finance or audit
  • 2+ years of experience in consolidation/reporting roles (ideally group level)
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or international equivalent)
  • Solid IFRS technical knowledge and audit prep experience
  • Confidence working across multiple time zones, stakeholders, and entities
  • Hands-on experience with consolidation tools (SAP BPC, OneStream, Workiva etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with a passion for accuracy and controls
  • Strong communicator – able to simplify complexity for non-finance stakeholders

It’s a Bonus If You Have

  • Experience in financial services or a regulated entity
  • Exposure to M&A from a financial reporting perspective
  • Skills in process automation or reporting technology
  • Prior experience preparing public financial disclosures
