Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 13 years of experience in brand consulting or marketing for an early stage technology or marketing programs to technical audiences.
* Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
* Experience in developing and leading high impact social and content strategies and engaging communities.
* Experience managing and mentoring a team of reports.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience working in early stage product category or feature; comfortable leading in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects in a start-up atmosphere.
* Ability to work across teams, build relationships, collaborate with senior leaders, and influence across all levels, functions, and geographies.
* Ability to develop and drive strategy grounded in data that can create meaningful and actionable insights.
* Demonstrated passion for AI and its capabilities; ability to take initiative with an interest in experimental AI and leaps in technology.
* Outstanding creative judgment, and comfortable guiding creative development and activations with external agency partners and internal Google teams.

The central AI marketing team is the hub for AI launches, bringing cutting-edge technology to developers and early adopters. We need a creative leader to develop and execute innovative engagement programs, building a strong community around our latest AI advancements.
As the lead of our early adopter and Developer Engagement team you will drive the editorial strategy for social content, crafting an "always-on" editorial drumbeat that captivates and informs our key audiences, leveraging innovative engagement tactics. You will lead a dynamic team, collaborating across multiple Google teams to execute high-impact moments, operating with agility and creativity in this fast-paced, early-stage environment. Your success will be measured by the growth and engagement of our key communities, solidifying Google's position as an AI thought leader with tech-savvy audiences.
You will sit with the Global AI Brand Marketing team, made up of brand, narrative, content, and demo marketers, reporting to the Director of AI Brand.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $211,000-$297,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
* Develop and execute comprehensive early adopter and developer social media content strategies for owned channels. This includes leading the strategy for an always on editorial calendar and overseeing production of engaging content across various platforms.
* Oversee and develop a strategy that cultivates relationships with key AI influencers and community leaders building a network of advocates and partners to amplify Google's AI messaging and foster a thriving community.
* Drive and deliver outsized campaigns and engagements for key launch moments that activate the early adopter and developer community in a social-first way.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to build and deliver a unified social vision and influence organizational strategy.
* Manage a small team of talented marketers and makers to ensure efficient execution while prioritizing team culture, development, and growth.
