Position Overview:

To serve as a Geotechnical Department Manager you will be responsible for overseeing geotechnical engineering operations, leading a team of engineers and professional, setting goals, managing budgets/ financial metrics, maintain daily operations, and monitoring performance. The department manager will also be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and productivity. Key duties include hiring, training, performance evaluation, and addressing issues with the department.

  • Engage in appropriate professional development to enhance performance and to gain or maintain certifications.
  • Model appropriate professional standards, mentor junior staff and other team members as necessary.

ducation/ Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering operations and project management.
  • Minimum BS in Civil Engineering. Masters preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Professional Engineering License is preferred.
