Job Location: Jersey City, NJ

Job Background/context:

The successful candidates will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions developed using JavaScript libraries Angular, Node.js, .NET Core C# and related technologies. Experience with SQL Server is preferred.


This role will be focused on development and support of modules for Financial Calculation Engine, so basic financial knowledge is a big plus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & develop solutions using Angular, Node.js, .NET,SQL Server and related technologies.
  • Produce well commented high quality code. Technical & Release documents.
  • Interaction with team lead and/or BA to understand the business requirements.
  • Provide technical walk-throughs to various stake holders (QA Team, UAT Team, etc.)
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and work through data related inquiries and issues.
  • Be able to work independently as well as within a team""""

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience in Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Implementation (all phases of software development life cycle - SDLC)
  • Very strong working experience with .NET Core and Javascript libraries
  • Knowledge and experience using Ci/CD tools.
  • Some understanding of financial industry is an asset.
  • Excellent functional, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills


Skills:

  • 6 + years of working experience in developing usingopen-source Javascript libraries: Angular, Node.js and Microsoft .NET
  • SQL Server fundamentals
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes

At Capgemini, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. The base salary range for the tagged location is $67733 - $108811 / yearly.


This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
