Full-stack Engineer

The Commercial Excellence team, positioned within the Corporate Strategy & Marketing function, serves as a strategic driver of transformation and growth. Focused on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of sales and marketing operations in Japan, the team plays a critical role in enabling business success. This position acts as a key contributor—leading or supporting initiatives related to the planning, design, development, deployment, and ongoing management of business applications that align with broader commercial objectives.

This position will play the role of an enabler, supporting the success of business activities by leading or participating in programs centered on the planning, design, development, release, and maintenance of business applications.

Responsibilities

• Based on the business growth and productivity improvement issues presented by the business division's sales and marketing staff and the team's commercial analysts, you will lead the planning and creation of business applications and consensus building on requirements definition.
• Responsible for business application design and development, testing, and deployment using web frameworks.
• In addition to maintaining and upgrading business applications, you will work with commercial analysts on your team to promote their utilization within the business division.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience in upstream process and project management of business applications ( 3 years or more)
• Experience in developing and operating applications using Python web frameworks ( 3 years or more)
• Experience managing and operating relational databases such as MySQL ( 3+ years)
• Experience using cloud platforms such as Azure ( 3+ years)
• Experience in collaborating with overseas and external experts and using one's own expertise to contribute to solving problems in business divisions
• Japanese: Native level / English: Intermediate level / Reading, writing and email communication is essential
  
  

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in implementing or supporting decision-making and risk management under conditions of high uncertainty.
• Experience proposing and implementing creative solutions to complex problems.
• Experience leading a team or project, providing clear direction even in ambiguous situations.
• Experience developing business applications using machine learning, natural language processing ( ML/NLP ) and generative AI Experience with data analysis based on CRM (SFDC, etc.) and ERP data
• Experience creating dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI Development experience using non-coding tools such as Microsoft Power Platform and Cybozu Kintone.
