As a Fullstack Quality Engineer (Software Development Engineer in Test - SDET), you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products while also actively contributing to test automation development. Your expertise in test automation, software development, and quality assurance will help drive innovation and efficiency in our testing processes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys coding but is also passionate about building robust test automation frameworks, preventing defects early in the development process, and improving overall software quality. Your responsibilities Test Automation & Development (40%) Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end tests using Selenium, Selenide, Appium, and Java. Expand and optimize our test automation framework to improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed. Contribute to the development of testable software architecture by working closely with developers. Implement and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar). Write and maintain test scripts for API, UI, and performance testing. Test Analysis & Strategy (30%) Participate in early-stage test analysis, working with engineers to prevent defects in the early phases of development. Analyze product requirements and design effective test strategies to ensure high-quality software. Define and implement best practices for automated testing, performance testing, and test data management. Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks related to software quality. Manual & Exploratory Testing (30%) Execute manual exploratory testing in cases where automation is not feasible. Perform edge case and boundary testing to uncover hidden defects. Report and track defects, actively working with developers to resolve them - or simply resolve them! Provide detailed test reports with root cause analysis and suggestions for improvement. Your experience 5+ years of experience in software testing, test automation, and software development. Strong programming skills in Java (preferred), Kotlin, or another OOP language. Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Selenide, Appium, TestNG, JUnit). Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or similar). Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, integrating automated tests into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI. Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling) and security testing is a plus. Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in SQL and ability to work with databases for test data setup and validation. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in agile teams. English proficiency for smooth collaboration across international teams.
