JOB DESCRIPTION

Role Expectations:

• Build robust and scalable web-based applications, through well-designed and well-factored code
• Build abstractions and contracts with separation of concerns for a larger scope
• Apply problem-solving skills to tackle high-level business and technical goals
• Create high-level technical designs and functional models with guidance
• Collaborative team player, adept at working within a group of 5-6 members.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering their growth and development.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring code quality and sharing best practices within the team.
• Work closely with Designers and other team members to build aesthetic and performant User Interfaces for target functionality
• Work with broader stakeholders to track the impact of projects/features and proactively iterate to improve them

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of software development experience in frontend development in React or Angular
• B.Tech, M.Tech or PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related technical disciplines
• Experience in writing fluent javascript, semantic html and modular css, and in implementing frontend design patterns
• Working knowledge of backend architectures and APIs
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
• Strong work ethic and ownership of deadlines
