Position Overview:

The Finance Manager / Controller will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring the overall financial health of the business. This role will involve collaborating closely with senior management to guide financial strategy and decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop and manage the company’s budgeting process, forecasting financial trends, and analyzing variances.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring the company has adequate liquidity for operations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
  • Support management with financial decision-making, including cost-saving initiatives and profitability analysis.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and manage tax filings.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic planning and business development.
  • Manage banking relationships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA designation is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with at least 2 years in a managerial or controller role.
  • Experience with financial management in a smaller or mid-sized company, ideally within manufacturing or distribution sectors.
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to handle complex financial data.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
