Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Finance & HR Manager, located on-site in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Finance & HR Manager will be responsible for managing financial operations including budgeting, financial planning, and reporting. They will also oversee HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. Co-ordinating payroll processes, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and implementing HR policies are also key responsibilities. Additionally, the Manager will collaborate with other departments to align financial and HR strategies with the overall business goals.


Qualifications

  • Manage the full spectrum of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general ledger and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Control and monitor business costs, expenses, and cash flow to ensure financial stability.
  • Prepare and present timely monthly 3 way management accounts, including budgets, cash flow statements and consolidated management accounts.
  • Work closely with leadership to allocate resources strategically and track ROI for studio operations and marketing campaigns.
  • Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations for operational efficiency.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and legal advisors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure all business software solutions are in place to improve operational efficiency and cost management (e.g., accounting, payroll or HR systems).
  • Oversee the adoption of latest regulatory requirements to ensure compliance with evolving financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Identify and execute process improvement projects to enhance both financial and HR operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company financial policies and relevant legal regulations.
  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, offboarding and performance management.
  • Implement up to date HR policies, procedures, and employee benefits programs.
  • Maintain all employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Handle all payroll, annual leave monitoring, benefits administration, and employee records management.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia and Singapore labor laws and regulations.
