Our client based in Abu Dhabi, UAE is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Functional Consultant to support the client's Finance team during the implementation of Oracle Fusion ERP. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the Finance team, the implementation partners, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth transitions, addressing challenges, and delivering a successful deployment.


Below are the job details:

Job Title: Finance Functional Consultant – Oracle Fusion ERP

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract Duration: 12 months (possible extension)

Work Type: 100% On-site


Required Competencies (skills, experience, knowledge) :

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Finance Functional Consultant, including experience with Oracle Fusion ERP implementations.

  • Deep understanding of financial processes and workflows, including accounting standards and reporting.
  • Proficient in Oracle Fusion Financials modules with hands-on configuration and implementation experience. Strong knowledge of data migration strategies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Experience transitioning from D365 to Oracle Fusion ERP.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and integration points.
  • Knowledge of change management principles in ERP implementations.
  •  Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA 


Key Responsibilities

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets, and Cash Management.

- Work closely with the Finance team to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with Oracle Fusion ERP capabilities.

- Guide the data migration process, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Collaborate with the implementation team to advise on best practices and configure Oracle Fusion ERP to meet organisational needs.

- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) by preparing test cases, supporting execution, and addressing feedback.

- Deliver training and documentation for the Finance team to ensure proficiency in the new system.

- Identify and resolve issues or bottlenecks during the implementation lifecycle.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies within the ERP solution.

- Provide ongoing support and advice post-implementation to stabilize and optimize system usage.
