Are you a Field Service Engineer with an electrical bias and PLC programming experience?

If so, a brand new opportunity is now available to join a market leading global manufacturing company as a Field Service Engineer.

This company are an innovative manufacturer who provide cutting edge solutions and equipment that has helped pave the way in automation and robotics - with a focus on the plastic injection moulding markets.

You will have a great deal of autonomy and the company operate a high trust culture working however best suits you and your customers on receiving your job allocations.

The job will require frequent national travel and your base can be anywhere in the UK.

****PLEASE NOTE - Owing to the nature of the role and travel involved, this could include being away for multiple consecutive days at a time. You will also be required to work at height****

So what will you be doing?

Duties include:

• Installation, repair and servicing of machines
• Provide training to customers
• Program and testing
• Liaise with customers on-site and via telephone and email

What do we need from you?:

• PLC Programming knowledge & Electrical experience
• Flexible to travel to customer sites on a regular basis
• Excellent initiative - able to work independently without micromanagement
• Comfortable working at height
• Full UK driving license

What can you expect in return?:

• Basic salary of £38,000 - £45,000 per annum + contractual bonus of £7000 per year (paid monthly) after successful completion of the probation period.
