Job Title: Field Applications Engineer

Duration: PERM

Location: San Jose, CA – remote but local travel to customer sites

Salary: $110-$140K base salary

Required Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• Semiconductor industry experience
• MCU experience
• More than 2 years of application engineering or embedded (hardware/software) development experience, preferably in the Consumer markets.
• Must have a comprehensive understanding of ARM Cortex-Microcontroller products and embedded systems.
• Experience with different types of embedded systems that use Sensors, Wireless, Secure Elements, USB, Memory technologies.
• Should be able to work with Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Protocol Analyzers, etc. for testing & debugging.

As a Field Applications Engineer, you will be the primary technical interface to customers for understanding their design requirements and propose Infineon solutions for embedded applications. Recommendations will include, but not be limited to, microcontrollers, sensors, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, secure elements, memories and USB.
