IT support Technician – Expert in Microsoft Office Api Specialist and/or expert in Test On Software Applications.

Job Description:

For one of our projects within the European institutions, we are looking for a versatile IT support Technician with (certified or proven expertise) in Microsoft Office tools and/or Tester on software certifications.

Under the supervision of the IT Manager, your role will be to provide technical support, maintain IT equipment, and help users improve their skills with advanced office tools.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 and 2 technical support to users (diagnosis, troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues).
• Assist users in the daily use of IT and office tools.
• Install, configure, and update workstations, peripherals, and office software (Microsoft Office, Outlook, etc.).
• Troubleshoot issues related to Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), including advanced features (macros, formulas, mail merge, etc.).
• Manage access rights, shared mailboxes, and Outlook settings (rules, signatures, calendar).
• Create and maintain procedure documents, user guides, and office tool tutorials.
• Contribute to IT asset management and update inventory records.
• Train users on IT best practices and the efficient use of office applications.
• Track and document support tickets using a ticketing system ServiceNow

Required Skills:

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools Microsoft Office tools and/or Tester on software certifications (MOS or TOSA certification highly valued).
• Good understanding of Windows operating systems, Active Directory, and basic networking.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to simplify technical concepts.
• Team player with adaptability to work with various stakeholders.

Desired Profile:

• Bachelor or equivalent experience in IT or a related field.
• Fluency in both French and English
• At least 2 of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Certifications or not in Microsoft Office tools and/or software testing are mandatory.
