About

SwayID is building the first compliance infrastructure for influencer and UGC marketing. As regulators catch up to how brands work with creators, we’re building the rails that make it safe. From Fortune 500s to UGC platforms, our product helps legal, compliance, and marketing teams offload liability and stay ahead of regulatory risk.

Now that class actions and FTC enforcement are making headlines, we’re expanding our presence in Washington, D.C. not for optics, but for access, credibility, and community. That’s where you come in.

The Role

As our Events & Community Manager, you’ll design and run intimate, strategic gatherings for insiders across marketing, marketing law, regulatory policy, and platform compliance. These aren’t fluff events—they’re closed-door salons, co-hosted briefings, and agency dinners where the most important conversations in our category are taking shape.

You’ll act as both a host and a bridge: connecting policy thinkers with brand marketers, legal counsel with platform operators, and SwayID with the broader ecosystem we were built to protect.

What You'll Do

  • Curate, plan, and host private dinners, salons, roundtables, and agency briefings
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across marketing, law, and policy
  • Own all logistics—from run-of-show and vendors to seating charts and follow-ups
  • Co-host events with agencies, PR firms, platforms, and legal collaborators
  • Design spaces where compliance becomes conversation, not just checkbox

Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years in events, community, partnerships, agency, or hospitality roles
  • Experience hosting intimate, senior-level gatherings (not just mass-attendee conferences)
  • Deep sensitivity to tone, privacy, and relationship nuance—especially across legal/policy audiences
  • Strong instincts for who should be in the room and how to make it matter
  • Bonus: Background in regulated industries, comms/PR, marketing law, or public affairs

Why This Role Exists

  • SwayID is creating the go-to table for marketing compliance—your job is to set it
  • Every dinner, salon, and invite list is a lever in shaping this category’s future
  • You’ll create an environment where regulatory credibility meets creator marketing fluency
  • You’ll help build the first real community around a compliance infrastructure company before it becomes obvious
