Required Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (typically 6+ years) as an ETL Tester or Data Warehouse Tester.
Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data warehousing principles, and dimensional modeling.
Excellent SQL skills for data querying, validation, and analysis across various database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing ETL test cases.
Experience in testing different types of ETL processes (e.g., batch, real-time).
Familiarity with at least one ETL tool (e.g., Informatica PowerCenter, Talend, AWS Glue, Azure Data Factory).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps).

Preferred Skills And Qualifications

Experience with test automation frameworks and tools for ETL testing (e.g., Python with database connectors, specialized ETL testing tools).
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Shell scripting for test automation and data manipulation.
Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and ETL services (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake, Google BigQuery).
Familiarity with data quality tools and processes.
Understanding of data governance and data lineage concepts.
Experience testing big data ETL processes using technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
