ESTIMATOR

Design & Build is seeking a qualified and experienced Estimator to join a dynamic and supportive team, working closely with an established estimating department. Our client is a reputable construction company specialising in volume homes, now expanding into exciting multi-residential projects with clear pathways for leadership and career growth.

Responsibilities

Bring your experience in Databuild and Onsite Companion to drive efficiency, accuracy, and smart procurement. You'll play a key role in shaping project success from the ground up.

• Lead the implementation and integration of Databuild and Onsite Companion into daily estimating processes
• Oversee end-to-end estimating duties: project scoping, cost planning, BOQs, and reporting
• Negotiate procurement contracts to ensure value, quality, and timely delivery
• Prepare clear, contract-ready supplier agreements to support project delivery
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Drafters, and Construction teams
• Provide insights on procurement strategies, value engineering, and cost optimisation
  
  

You Must Have:

• 5+ years of proven experience as an Estimator in residential construction (volume homes preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Databuild and Onsite Companion, must be proficient
• Strong estimating knowledge across cost planning, procurement, and supplier negotiations
• Excellent stakeholder management and clear communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and take initiative when required
• A proactive mindset with future leadership aspirations
