Construction Estimator

Position Overview

The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs and preparing detailed estimates for construction projects. This role requires a keen understanding of construction processes, materials, and market trends to provide competitive and precise bids.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to obtain necessary information for estimates.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to develop comprehensive budgets.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and present estimates to clients.
• Monitor cost trends and provide insights for future projects based on historical data.
• Assist in negotiations with clients and subcontractors regarding project costs.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and materials.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with hospitality and hotels moves to the top of our interview list.
