Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Hybrid Cloud Enterprise Architect with a deep focus on Private Cloud Enterprise and Private Cloud Business Edition solutions. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in defining and delivering hybrid cloud strategies and architectures that align with our organization's business objectives. You will design, implement, and optimize private cloud solutions that enable scalability, security, and operational efficiency across enterprise-level environments.
This position requires a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to work closely with cross-functional teams in IT, security, and business units to drive cloud transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of Private Cloud Enterprise and Private Cloud Business Edition solutions, ensuring alignment with the organization's business goals and IT strategy.
- Develop and implement hybrid cloud architectures that integrate public and private cloud solutions, ensuring seamless interoperability, security, and data governance.
- Provide architectural oversight for the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of private cloud infrastructure, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Define and drive the cloud adoption roadmap and strategies, including the migration of workloads from traditional data centers to private or hybrid cloud environments.
- Collaborate with business leaders to understand enterprise-level requirements and translate them into effective, scalable cloud architectures.
- Ensure that private cloud solutions adhere to industry standards, regulatory compliance (e.g., ISO, GDPR), and best practices for cloud security, data privacy, and infrastructure resilience.
- Lead efforts in automation and orchestration within the private cloud environments, promoting Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) capabilities.
- Oversee the implementation and integration of private cloud management platforms, optimizing for efficiency in operations, resource utilization, and cost management.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to teams involved in private cloud deployment, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Evaluate and select cloud technologies, tools, and vendors to ensure that the private cloud solutions meet both current and future business needs.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including blueprints, guidelines, and best practices for the ongoing evolution of the private cloud infrastructure.
- Monitor industry trends and innovations to drive continuous improvement of private cloud strategies and stay ahead of technological advancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with at least 5 years focusing on private cloud and enterprise cloud solutions.
- Deep expertise in Private Cloud Enterprise and Private Cloud Business Edition platforms, with a proven track record of architecting and deploying large-scale private cloud infrastructures.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud strategies and integration between private cloud and public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with cloud management platforms and tools for automation, orchestration, and resource optimization (e.g., VMware, OpenStack, Nutanix).
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM, Hyper-V) and software-defined infrastructure (SDN, SDS).
- Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Kubernetes, Docker, or OpenShift.
- Strong background in cloud security best practices, including identity management, access control, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of networking, storage, and compute within cloud environments and how to optimize for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Strong experience in automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Preferred Skills
- Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, VMware VCP, or equivalent.
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies and frameworks for optimizing private cloud alongside public cloud providers.
- Familiarity with enterprise-level workload migrations from on-premise data centers to private cloud platforms.
- Understanding of DevOps and DevSecOps principles and their application in private cloud environments.
