Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Microsoft Azure Engineer to design, build, and optimize end-to-end cloud data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure services—including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric—while also leveraging tools like Power BI, Python, and SSIS for enhanced data processing and visualization. This role emphasizes scalable architecture, secure data handling, and automated deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Data Engineering & Processing:

• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and SSIS.
• Build and manage data lakes, data pipelines, and data integration workflows within the Azure ecosystem.
• Apply best practices in data governance, compliance, and security.
• Leverage Python and Power BI for data transformation and reporting.

Backend & Application Development:

• Develop and deploy scalable cloud applications using Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices for real-time and batch data processing.
• Integrate Azure services to streamline data accessibility and business intelligence.

Cloud & DevOps:

• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and manage infrastructure using Terraform or Bicep.
• Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost efficiency, and platform availability.
• Ensure robust observability through logging, monitoring, and alerting frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering and development.
• Strong expertise in Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Terraform, and/or Bicep.
• Proficiency in Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API development.
• Working knowledge of SQL, T-SQL, Cosmos DB, and relational databases.
• Practical experience with data security and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Power BI, Python scripting, and SSIS for data integration and reporting.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):

• Familiarity with Databricks, machine learning workflows, and Python-based data processing.
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
• Azure certifications (e.g., DP-203, AZ-204) are a plus.
