Summary

Salary: $135,000-$150,000 + commission


What You'll Need:

  • Over 4 years of experience in B2B sales within SaaS, Cloud, or Data, with at least 2 years focused on selling to Enterprise Accounts.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas, especially with technical buyers.
  • Direct experience in the data infrastructure industry.
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • A positive, energetic attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in both hunting and farming roles.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the entire sales cycle for qualified leads, from evaluation and POC to proposal, negotiation, and closing, aiming to meet quarterly booking targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships across your book of business.
  • Participate in prospecting and outbound efforts.
  • Serve as a key link for competitive intelligence, feature requests, and customer needs to our product, marketing, executive, and engineering teams.
  • Maintain an up-to-date pipeline that is four times your quarterly quota.


Opportunity: We're looking for San Francisco and New York-based Enterprise Account Executives to join our sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Sales. You'll be responsible for closing deals with both inbound and outbound accounts across our product lines. This role involves selling primarily to CTOs and CIOs, with frequent interactions with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, Heads of Engineering, Developers, and Data Scientists.

A solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, the modern data stack, API-based data connections, and database replication is essential, or you should be able to quickly learn new industry knowledge. You'll grow your client base through new business and small footprint deals, with success likely depending on expanding from single departments to company-wide deployments. This is a chance to be part of a growing startup's sales team with a strong product-led growth strategy.
