About the Role
As Engineering Manager at Shiftbase, you'll lead multiple tech teams in building impactful features for our customers and their tens of thousands of users. You bridge strategic product vision and technical execution, playing a key role in our growth ambitions. With inspiring, energetic, and approachable leadership and strong people management skills, you’ll build, guide, and continually develop high-performing tech teams—while celebrating shared successes.
You value strong collaboration with departments like Product Management, Product Marketing, and Data to ensure solutions go live quickly and deliver immediate impact. You foster a culture of trust, ownership, and continuous improvement both within and outside your engineering teams.
With a proven track record of building and leading high-performing tech teams, you’re the go-to expert for complex (IT) challenges. You’re a strategic partner to the CTO (to whom you report), a coach when possible, and a hands-on leader when needed. You champion an engineering culture that promotes innovation, productivity, enjoyment, and long-term sustainability. You drive platform quality and scalability, introducing best practices in CI/CD and test automation.
In short, you ensure Shiftbase’s ambitious growth is supported by excellent technical execution—across People, Processes, and Tools.
