Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Engineering Data Analyst to join our team. This role is essential in managing and processing technical data related to mechanical components, including parts classification, attributes, and technical drawings. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering concepts, experience with 3D modeling tools like CREO, and a proficiency in data management and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in mechanical components data management and classification.
• Strong knowledge of parts attributes for commodities such as castings, heat exchangers, and wire harnesses.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in CREO for analyzing and working with 3D models and drawings.
• Experience with Engineering and Manufacturing Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Basic understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and their impact on data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to process large volumes of data efficiently and accurately.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-volume data management, including customer, supplier, and pricing data.
• Familiarity with industry data standards and best practices.
• Knowledge of data management tools or software beyond Excel is a plus.
