Job Description:
The HR Buddy plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth onboarding process, ensuring new hires' seamless transition into the organization, and enhancing overall employee satisfaction. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in administrative tasks, employee relations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Onboarding and Orientation:
- Handle all administrative tasks related to onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure an exceptional first-day experience for new employees.
- Provide guidance and support to new hires during their initial days to facilitate a smooth transition and adaptation process.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the point of contact for the respective Business Unit (BU), addressing employees' queries and grievances in collaboration with relevant departments or process owners.
- Resolve issues promptly to enhance job satisfaction and promote a positive work environment.
- Organize team building activities and regular meetings to collect feedback, address grievances, and foster employee engagement.
HR Programs and Compliance:
- Promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Maintain employee files and records, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
- Assist in the development of HR objectives, systems, and reports to meet company requirements.
Administration and Support:
- Assist in administering induction programs, trainings, performance appraisals, and benefits/compensation programs.
- Propose new procedures and policies to improve the efficiency of the HR department and enhance the employee experience.
- Manage the complete employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
Exit Management and Audits:
- Conduct exit interviews and assist HR Business Partners (BPs) with attrition analysis.
- Manage internal and external audits for the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Should have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in HR.
- Proven experience in HR administration, employee relations, and onboarding processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of labour regulations and HR best practices.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience with audit management is a plus.
