Job Description:

The HR Buddy plays a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth onboarding process, ensuring new hires' seamless transition into the organization, and enhancing overall employee satisfaction. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in administrative tasks, employee relations, and fostering a positive work environment.


Responsibilities:

Onboarding and Orientation:

  1. Handle all administrative tasks related to onboarding and new hire orientation.
  2. Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure an exceptional first-day experience for new employees.
  3. Provide guidance and support to new hires during their initial days to facilitate a smooth transition and adaptation process.

Employee Relations:

  1. Serve as the point of contact for the respective Business Unit (BU), addressing employees' queries and grievances in collaboration with relevant departments or process owners.
  2. Resolve issues promptly to enhance job satisfaction and promote a positive work environment.
  3. Organize team building activities and regular meetings to collect feedback, address grievances, and foster employee engagement.


HR Programs and Compliance:

  1. Promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
  2. Maintain employee files and records, ensuring compliance with labor regulations.
  3. Assist in the development of HR objectives, systems, and reports to meet company requirements.


Administration and Support:

  1. Assist in administering induction programs, trainings, performance appraisals, and benefits/compensation programs.
  2. Propose new procedures and policies to improve the efficiency of the HR department and enhance the employee experience.
  3. Manage the complete employee life cycle, from onboarding to offboarding.


Exit Management and Audits:

  1. Conduct exit interviews and assist HR Business Partners (BPs) with attrition analysis.
  2. Manage internal and external audits for the Business Unit, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.


Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  2. Should have 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in HR.
  3. Proven experience in HR administration, employee relations, and onboarding processes.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  6. Knowledge of labour regulations and HR best practices.
  7. Proficiency in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  8. Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
  9. Experience with audit management is a plus.
