Embedded Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly motivated embedded software engineer who is passionate about building technology that serves our customers. You will help develop the next generation of electronic warfare solutions.

You need to have an EU citizenship.

Tasks

• Work on various platforms with a preference for the Xilinx platforms using PetaLinux
• Handle platform boot-up and start-up sequences
• Develop and maintain code related to interconnections between platform modules
• Work with DMA, I2C, USB protocols and their specific uses on the Xilinx platforms, write and maintain scripts using Python
• Utilise git for version control and manage CI/CD pipelines, develop software using C and/or C++

Skills & Experience

• A University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with 2+ years of professional experience or comparable education/professional experience
• Proven experience as an embedded software engineer, good aptitude for problem solving and logical reasoning
• Proficiency with Xilinx platforms and PetaLinux, strong understanding of platform boot-up and start-up sequences
• In-depth knowledge of DMA, I2C, and USB protocols, experience in scripting languages like Python
• Familiarity with version control systems like git and CI/CD processes, strong programming skills in C and/or C++
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment, experience with development tools such as Vivado, Vitis, and Visual Studio
• High proficiency in English, German is a plus
