Summary
About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics/Electrical Engineer with advanced expertise in programming, embedded systems design, and PCB development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with a wide array of technologies, tools, and protocols, and will be expected to play a key role in designing, simulating, testing, and troubleshooting complex electronics systems. The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Circuit Design & PCB Layout:
Design and develop complex electronic circuits, including schematic and PCB layout. Ensure all designs meet industry standards and are optimized for performance, power, and size.
Embedded Systems Development:
Program and develop embedded systems using platforms like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and other microcontrollers. Utilize experience in Raspberry Pi and Arduino coding to create reliable and efficient solutions.
Design Tools Proficiency:
Use advanced design tools (Altium Designer, Eagle CAD, KiCad, etc.) to create schematics, PCBs, and simulations, and ensure all designs are properly documented with relevant file formats (STEP, BRD, SCH, 3DS, PDF).
Simulation & Testing:
Perform simulations of circuit designs using tools such as Proteus, MATLAB, and others to predict real-world behavior and identify issues before prototyping.
Embedded Communication Protocols:
Implement and test various communication protocols (MIPI DSI/CSI, USB, SPI, I2C, BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE, GSM, NB-IoT, etc.) to ensure seamless data transfer and interface between different components.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work closely with other engineering teams (software, hardware, and mechanical) to ensure designs are compatible and meet product requirements.
Documentation & Reporting:
Provide clear and concise documentation for all designs, testing, and simulations. Create technical reports and specifications for product development and improvement.
Prototyping & Debugging:
Build, test, and troubleshoot prototypes. Analyze circuit performance, debug issues, and make design revisions as necessary.
Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
8+ years of experience,
Proven experience designing, developing, and testing embedded systems and PCBs.
Strong experience with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and other embedded platforms.
Minimum [X] years of hands-on experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and schematic creation.
Proficiency in circuit simulation and analysis using industry-standard tools.
