Electrical Engineer

Salary: £46,000 per annum

Location: Central London (Foot mobile role – no vehicle required)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a well-established building services team, supporting a portfolio of commercial properties across Central London. This is a foot mobile position, ideal for someone who enjoys walking between sites, especially with the sun coming out for the summer!

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
• Fault finding, testing, and remedial work in line with 18th Edition standards
• Minor installation work where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate records and complete job reports via the CAFM system
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and site teams as needed

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
• Previous experience in commercial building maintenance
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
• Good communication and organisational skills

Package:

• £46,000 salary
• Monday to Friday working pattern
