The Electrical Assistant Project Manager will be supporting project managers in the planning, execution, and monitoring of electrical construction projects. This role assists with tasks like coordinating materials, managing schedules, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:
Assist project managers with planning, scheduling, and monitoring electrical construction projects.
Material Management:
Coordinate material procurement, inventory, and distribution to meet project needs.
Documentation:
Prepare and manage project documents, including submittals, plans, and specifications.
Compliance:
Ensure material orders meet project specifications
Communication:
Communicate effectively with project Managers, vendors, and field teams.
Budget and Cost Tracking:
Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial reporting to maintain project profitability.
Change Management:
Assist in managing change orders, requests for information (RFIs), and other project-related adjustments.
Quality Assurance:
Monitor work progress and support quality control efforts through inspections.
Progress Reporting:
Provide regular updates on project status and challenges to project managers, and other leadership
Specific Requirements:
Education:
A bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related field. or equivalent in field experience.
Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical construction, general construction or project management assistance
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are necessary.
