We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembly Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. As an essential part of our production process, you will work closely with engineers and other technicians to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities
Assemble electrical enclosure control panels, fittings, tubing, hoses and other products by following drawings and instructions.
Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, drawings, and parts lists.
Inspects, adjusts, repairs, and tests products as necessary to meet customer requirements.
Gathers and positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.
Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and/or notifying General Manager to obtain additional resources.
Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when required.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Additional duties include some warehouse shipping and receiving duties.

Ability to read and interpret documents

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Ability stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than one hundred pounds.
Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to drive company vehicle when necessary and a valid driver’s license is required
Experience and ability using computer programs preferred
Education And Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
1-3+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Requirements
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
Long periods of standing.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
The buildings are heated during the winter, but conditions could be cold in the winter & hot during the summer.
Salary Range: $20/hr - $25/hr
