Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost assessments for various projects, particularly in drywall installation. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of construction processes, allowing for precise evaluations and estimates.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for drywall installations and related projects.
• Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine labor and material costs.
• Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather accurate information for bids.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and conditions.
• Maintain and update a database of costs, quantities, and pricing.
• Review and reconcile estimates with finalized project budgets.
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing and presenting estimates to clients.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on drywall.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
