Location: Madison Heights, MI A rapidly growing commercial architectural millwork company which fabricates custom plastic laminate and solid surface cabinets, counter-tops, reception desks, and wall panels seeking a full time Drafting Manager/CNC Programmer. This role requires working with the Project Management team on front-end documents until they are complete and provide CNC programming to production team. Produce shop drawings in AutoCAD for submittals. Provide CNC programming to maintain production schedules. Work closely with Shop Foreman to answer questions and maintain production. Manage drafting team to meet production goals and schedules. This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in the architectural millwork industry, 5 years experience in CNC programming, and 3 years experience in AutoCAD. The perfect candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, have the ability to visualize fabrication, and the ability to successfully manage a 2-3 member team.
