One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Document Control Administrator - II to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.
Summary
The Document Control Administrator will manage regulatory documentation for renewable feedstocks, ensuring accuracy and tracking transportation details. They will communicate with suppliers, correct discrepancies, and compile data using Excel to trace feedstock movement from origin to final destination
Responsibilities
Contractor will review the validity of documentation received, organize the data (typically in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint), and file the information.
If needed, the contractor will contact the supplier for missing or inaccurate documents.
Contractor will need to be diligent, ensuring that the supplier delivers the correct documents in a timely fashion to then organize and pass forward documentation to the P66 facility or 3rd party entities.
Additional requirements will include tracking mileage for transportation distances of trucks, railcars, barges, and ships, and documenting that mileage in an Excel spreadsheet.
Assist with required audits or regulatory requests
Requirements
3-5 years of experience
Document Control Experience or experience in a similar field, , completing Regulatory items
Diligent, organized, patient, and responsible individual
Intermediate computer skills
Prior experience with traditional Microsoft applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and SharePoint
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the desire to work with numbers.
Problem solving mindset and ability to make thoughtful decisions and judgement calls.
Strong interpersonal skills, as interaction with 3rd party customers/suppliers via email and phone will be required.
