We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Revision Control Professional to join our team supporting the Gas Chromatography Systems Maxum product and solutions business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining both engineering and non-engineering document requirements, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our documentation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Document Management:

  • Maintain and organize engineering documents including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Ensure proper handling of non-engineering documents such as policies, procedures, and administrative records.
  • Implement and oversee document control procedures to ensure all records are up-to-date and accessible.

Compliance And Quality Assurance

  • Verify that all documentation adheres to industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of documentation to identify discrepancies or non-conformance issues.

System Administration

  • Manage document control systems or databases, ensuring they are secure, updated, and user-friendly.
  • Coordinate with IT and local management for any system upgrades or issues related to document management software

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, product management, and other departments to gather, distribute, and archive documents.
  • Facilitate effective communication regarding document statuses, revisions, and updates.

Training And Support

  • Train staff on document control procedures and the use of document management systems.
  • Provide support to internal teams on document-related queries.

Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years in document control or a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience managing both technical and administrative documentation.

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in document management systems (e.g., SharePoint, OpenText Documentum, various PDM systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.

Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with engineering documentation standards.
  • Basic understanding of engineering processes and terminology

Software Proficiency

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with PDF editing software and version control systems is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Document Control or Quality Management (like CQA or CDCP or DMCP).

Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., Aerospace, Pharmaceuticals, Oil & Gas).
