Summary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate truck drivers to ensure timely deliveries and efficient routes.
  • Monitor and track shipments to provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and warehouse personnel to address any scheduling issues or delays.
  • Utilize dispatching software to assign loads, track driver progress, and optimize routes.
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Resolve any logistical or operational issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of deliveries, driver hours, and fuel usage.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in trucking/transportation dispatching preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of routing, scheduling, and dispatching software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of DOT regulations and transportation compliance.
