Job Purpose

The Distribution Center Dispatcher is responsible for expediting shipments to meet cutoff times for orders.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving of merchandise, including delivery to customer locations within a 45-minute window.
• Assemble and fulfill customer orders, ensuring proper matching of invoices to shipments.
• Scheduling delivery driver routes and monitoring arrival and departure times according to business needs.
• Scheduling contract drivers based on business needs.
• Managing tote packing, pallet building, wrapping, and tagging.
• We are monitoring the shipping queue and communicating concerns with the picking Team Lead/Manager.
• Using last-mile software to ensure timely deliveries.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Degree or GED
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse experience or similar discipline
• Proficient at multitasking and making sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with RF Scanners is preferred.

Environmental/Occupational Health And Physical Requirements

To perform the duties of this job the employee must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time. The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.
