Compensation: In accordance with California law, the expected salary range for this position is posted with this position.  The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

About the Program: Our Supportive Housing Program consists of Transitional Housing Program (THP), Permanent Supportive Housing Program (SHP), and Transitional Housing Placement Program for Non-Minor Dependents (THPP-NMD).

Our THP consists of 40 units where we house and provide services to youth 18-24 years old who are former foster or probation youth, pregnant or parenting and have a maximum of two children. Most of our youth have an extensive history of trauma and have minimal-to-no support system. Some of the services include mental health, workforce development, childcare services, life skill classes, pregnancy and parenting services, substance use services, and educational support.

Our THP-NMD consists of 12 units for youth between the ages of 18-21yrs of age who are considered non-minor dependents. They come with similar backgrounds of our THP residents but receive additional support from county workers along with SHP housing staff.

Our SHP consists of 39 1- and 2-bedroom apartments for families who were formerly homeless Intensive Case Management Services is provided on-site to assist families in not only maintaining housing but also in accomplishing goals they may have for themselves and their children.

Role Summary: As the Director of Supportive Housing, you will oversee our Supportive Housing Programs. Oversight includes program design, operations, coordinated service delivery, management and training of staff, contract compliance, and fiscal management.

  • Monday – Thursday: 09:00 AM – 06:00 PM; Friday: 09:00 AM – 05:00 PM; Alternating Fridays: Day off built into the schedule!

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage performance of six staff while overseeing overall program operations, including intake, discharge, and maintaining full occupancy.
  • Ensure compliance with the Statement of Work, Plan of Operations, and all contractual, legal, and administrative obligations.
  • Monitor budgets and make informed decisions on program needs and fiscal responsibilities; complete reports, invoices, and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality services to participants by coordinating across departments and maintaining strong relationships with community partners and service providers.
  • Attend relevant meetings and trainings; oversee audits; identify and pursue funding opportunities; and lead ongoing development of program design.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences or human service
  • 3+ years of experience providing case management to transition-aged youth, foster and/or probation youth or supervision of case management staff
  • 2+ years of experience in an Administrative or Managerial position
  • Valid California Class C Driver’s License required 
  • Valid automobile insurance required
  • Physical ability to operate a motor vehicle required
  • Physical ability to perform Pro-ACT and administer First Aid/CPR required
