Job Description
Purpose:
The Director of Operations administers operational elements for the UCAH department. Under the direction of the Executive Director, administers operational elements of activities associated with UCAH.
Responsibilities:
* Provides daily operational leadership. Provides primary leadership for daily operational activities.
* Directs, implements, and monitors program goals.
* Leads program integration in accordance with the scope and mission of the UCAH.
* Directs program participants in matters related to fiscal management to ensure resources are accounted for according to budgetary guidelines.
* Manages staff assigned to the program.
* Coordinates feedback to and from key administrative and technical team members.
* Reviews advisory board agenda and provides dialogue as to the management issues that affect the financial and technical health of the program.
* Plans and coordinates meetings whereby administrative, technical, and participant team members can collaborate, present results, and receive constructive criticism on the overall program.
* Assists in interview processes for employees prior to hiring.
What we need:
* Bachelor's degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ten years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong public speaking, organizational, leadership, and supervisory skills.
* Maintains attention to detail and utilizes sound judgment.
* Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
