What You Will Do

The GS&OP Director will play a critical role in driving responsiveness for growth for L'Oréal Dermatological Beauty (LDB) within North America, focusing on long-term planning, agility and capacity management, and transversal projects. This role involves close collaboration with global and regional teams, manufacturing, development, and sourcing to ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives. This leader will also manage a team of two data analysts dedicated to driving process optimization and leveraging data-driven insights.

Key Job Accountabilities

  • GS&OP Leadership & Implementation: Serve as the North American point of contact for the LDB GS&OP transversal processes, ensuring alignment with Worldwide and local S&OP strategies.
  • Financial & Capacity Planning: Lead the LDB manufacturing & inventory budget planning and the 3-year plan cycle, supporting long-term capacity planning (SIZE). Collaborate with LDB GS&OP leads to develop the long-term demand vision for each brand.
  • Demand & Supply Optimization: Track mid-to-long term demand growth and monitor North America's global capacity for LDB brands. Establish and maintain long-term stock equations at a macro level, focusing on key product formats.
  • Strategic Growth Management: Utilize scenario planning and cross-functional collaboration to identify and address potential bottlenecks to growth while also mitigating risks associated with potential deceleration.
  • Global Footprint Collaboration & Coordination: Partner with the EU GS&OP team to provide a worldwide perspective of the manufacturing footprint to support for the evolution of LDB brands. Oversee manufacturing transfer strategy & projects, ensuring business continuity.
  • Responsiveness for Growth: Drive the responsiveness for growth program for LDB in partnership with NOE, manufacturing, development, and sourcing teams to deliver improvements in service and inventory.
  • Regulatory Affairs: Act as the LDB NA S&OP point of contact for all regulatory matters, including communication, stock analysis, and project oversight.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of two data analytics professionals (Senior Manager & Manager), driving transformation in tools and working methods for both the LDB GS&OP and LDB US Planning teams.

Required Experience/Training

  • BA/BS degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field preferred
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant business experience within Manufacturing, Sourcing or Supply Chain
  • Possess well-developed communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills to be able to build strong work relationships with all levels of the organization
