Position Overview: The Director of DCOIL will serve as the Academic Head of the organization, providing visionary leadership to drive excellence in cross-border learning, collaboration, and innovation. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in fostering partnerships, advancing academic and cultural exchange, and ensuring the highest standards of education and research within DCOIL’s mandate.

Key Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership:
• Develop and implement academic strategies that align with DCOIL’s vision and objectives.
• Oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of cross-border educational programs.
• Promote interdisciplinary research and global collaboration among partner institutions.
• Strategic Planning and Management:
• Formulate and execute long-term plans to establish DCOIL as a global leader in cross-border education.
• Manage budgets, resources, and operations to ensure optimal functioning of the organization.
• Partnership Development:
• Build and sustain relationships with leading academic institutions, industry partners, and governmental bodies.
• Represent DCOIL at national and international forums to promote its mission and programs.
• Team Development:
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of academics, researchers, and administrative staff.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Event Oversight:
• Provide strategic direction for events such as the cross-border student meet and other academic or cultural exchanges.
• Ensure the successful execution of initiatives that embody the philosophy of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.”
• Governance and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and accreditation standards in all academic programs and activities.

Qualifications And Requirements

• Education: PhD from a top-tier institution, preferably with specialization in areas relevant to cross-border education or management.
• Experience: Minimum of 25 years of relevant experience, including:
• Leadership roles in top B-schools or similar academic institutions.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing innovative academic programs.
• Significant experience in fostering global partnerships and collaborations.
• Skills:
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills.
