We are lookingfor HEAD - ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION for the Gurugramcampus.


Objective of the Role

To ensure that all programs of Great Lakes, Gurgaon are executed as per the laid down Academic Norms, Standards and Calendar. Selected candidates will be expected to / shall be capable of undertaking the following essential tasks / responsibilities as part of their job / role below.


Key Responsibilities -


  • Function as the nodal officer for all academic admin activities of the institute encompassing support functions and records.
  • Lead a team of members from both administrative functions and Teaching Assistant's to ensure smooth conduct of all academic activities.
  • As Convener, plan, prepare and conduct the annual convocation for the passing out batch graduates.
  • Possess excellent knowledge on the Learning Management Platforms and their effective utilization for conduct of offline and online sessions / schedules.
  • Capable of maintaining academic records and associated functions / documents including background verification checks and credential verification process etc.
  • Maintain student records, support the onboarding process for new batches and support student service requests and requirements.

  • Possess adequate knowledge of Accreditation process, data requirements for ranking surveys, academic data repository procedures etc.
  • Ensure feedback system for evaluation of teaching learning effectiveness including support to AOL procedures.
  • Possess adequate knowledge on online solutions for academic evolutions to ensure smooth conduct of academic activities in offline, online as well as Hybrid modes.
  • Possess good knowledge of the disciplinary action procedures for academic misconduct and incident reports (DAC).
  • Ability to manage / motivate subordinates to perform and possess good leadership skills to sustain efficiency at work.
  • Have good personal management skills and ability to coordinate with cross functional domains – departments for smooth conduct of all academic evolutions.
  • Possess good knowledge on performance appraisal systems and promotion policies guidelines to lead / motivate team of staff members
  • Capable of handling disputes, possessing good negotiation skills and conflict resolution capabilities to ensure a healthy working environment.



  • Possess adequate knowledge of student admissions processes including mandatory disclosure policies and records.
  • Conduct periodic feedback schedules and surveys to assess learning effectiveness and student satisfaction levels.
  • Possess good understanding of the budgeting process and utilize / monitor available resources gainfully for optimum exploitation.
  • Possess good knowledge on the academic record demands from alumni and facilitation of the same with external agencies – including online verification process etc.
  • Master’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% of marks Qualification in the field of Management /Education preferably.
  • As Head of the academic admin department, provide support for strategic planning and progress of the institution to the Management / Board.


Qualifications

  • MBA from a reputed college Tier 1
  • Maximum 5 years of work experience in a similar role from Higher Education Industry
  • Total 15 years work experience is a must in Tier 1 educational institution
  • Leadership & Team Management skills
  • Excellent Communication skills – fluency in English is a must.
  • Dexterous in establishing & managing working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Good Presentation & communication (written& spoken) skills (English compulsory)
  • Knack for problem solving
  • Detail Orientation
  • Previous experience of working with LMS
  • Expert in MS-Excel package
