Position Summary:
We seek a passionate and creative Digital Community Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will help foster an active, supportive, safe, and welcoming online environment within the MySS community. This role involves moderating discussions, engaging with members, coordinating live events, and driving overall community growth and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement:
* Initiate daily and weekly engagement prompts, thematic discussion threads, and interactive challenges.
* Moderate forums and live sessions to ensure respectful, supportive interactions.
Event Coordination:
* Organise, promote, and host live sessions (e.g., Q&A sessions, workshops, and wellness check-ins) to drive participation and build community connections.
Member Support:
* Serve as a key point of contact for community members, addressing questions, resolving conflicts, and gathering feedback.
* Analyse community sentiment and report insights to the team lead for continuous improvement.
* Create monthly analytic reports.
Content Integration:
* Collaborate with Program Managers and Content Creators to incorporate community updates, success stories, and program information into daily posts.
Growth Initiatives:
* Develop strategies for re-engaging dormant members and attracting new ones through targeted campaigns and partnerships.
Qualifications:
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a warm, empathetic approach.
* Experience in online community management and moderation.
* Ability to manage conflict and facilitate online group discussions.
* Familiarity with digital community platforms and social media engagement best practices.
* Passion for cultural empowerment and holistic wellness.
* Experience managing online communities, ideally in nonprofit or digital engagement roles.
* Demonstrated ability to foster engagement and support diverse communities.
