My client in the insurance industry is looking for an experienced digital Business Analyst to join their transformation journey.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders and IT teams, to identify business needs and requirements.
• Document business processes, workflows, and requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for technology solutions.
• Develop and recommend strategies to enhance business processes and systems.
• Collect and analyze data related to insurance operations and performance metrics.
• Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to stakeholders.
• Use data insights to drive decision-making and support business strategies.
• Assist in the planning, execution, and management of insurance-related projects.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Manage project documentation and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Participate in the selection, implementation, and testing of new insurance systems or software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to insurance systems and processes.
• Ensure that business processes and systems comply with regulatory and industry standards.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with business processes and propose mitigation strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience documenting business requirements, with a preference for business over technical requirements.
• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst on previous projects.
• Minimum of 4 years experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Skilled in collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders to gather and document requirements, create functional specifications, and develop effective solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of insurance industry regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of policy management systems, their functionalities, and integration with other systems (e.g., billing, claims, customer relationship management).
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira or Confluence.
• Experience in a lead Business Analyst role is highly desirable.
