Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a sharp, reliable DevOps Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves solving infrastructure challenges with scalable solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience across cloud platforms, automation tools, and Linux system administration. If you're someone who sweats the details, lives for automation, and is passionate about creating stable, secure environments, we want to meet you.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and support scalable infrastructure on Azure cloud services (compute, networking, storage, IAM)
  • Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform
  • Administer and support Linux environments, focusing on services like BIND, Sendmail, Samba, Rsync, NTP, and NFS
  • Implement and manage logging and monitoring using syslog-ng, rsyslog, Splunk, ELK/EFK stack, Prometheus, and Grafana
  • Build CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows and tools like TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab CI
  • Package OS software using tools like Packer and manage .deb/.rpm distributions
  • Support database operations with MySQL/MariaDB, and optionally with NoSQL tools like Redis, MongoDB, or DynamoDB
  • Automate configuration management using tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Enforce security and compliance best practices, including secrets management with Vault and audit logging

Some Must-Haves:

  • 3+ years of DevOps or related infrastructure experience
  • Proficient in Terraform and Azure cloud services
  • Deep Linux system admin experience and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.)
  • Comfortable working in CI/CD pipelines and managing infrastructure in live production environments
  • Knowledge of secure infrastructure practices and automation-first mindset
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
