About The Team/Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, optimize deployment workflows, and ensure high availability of Kubernetes workloads across Fabric PaaS and cloud platforms.
How you’ll make an impact
- Architect and refine CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters, optimize resource allocation, and troubleshoot networking and security configurations.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm, Ansible) for scalable and secure environments.
- Implement and optimize service mesh solutions such as Istio for traffic management.
- Automate security compliance and enforce best practices for containerized applications.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps engineers and new team members to support their onboarding and professional growth.
Experience you’ll bring
- Good experience in DevOps, software development, or cloud automation.
- CI/CD Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience designing CI/CD pipelines that integrate testing, security scanning, and automated rollbacks.
- Kubernetes & Container Orchestration: Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes, including:
○ Workload scheduling (requests/limits, affinity/anti-affinity).
○ Cluster networking (Ingress controllers, DNS resolution, Fabric PaaS
integrations).
○ Persistent storage management (PVCs, StatefulSets, CSI drivers).
- Infrastructure Automation: Expertise in Terraform, Helm, and Ansible, including:
○ Developing reusable modules for infrastructure provisioning.
○ Automating system configuration using Ansible playbooks.
- Service Mesh & Traffic Management: Hands-on experience implementing Istio, Linkerd, or Consul for:
○ Traffic shaping and observability.
○ Policy-based security enforcement.
- Multi-Cluster Management: Exposure to managing multi-cluster Kubernetes
environments.
- Progressive Delivery Techniques: Experience with Blue-Green, Canary
deployment strategies and Feature Flagging concepts and their role in controlled rollouts (e.g., LaunchDarkly, Unleash, Flipt).
- Developer Enablement: Ability to work closely with software engineers to improve build/deploy efficiency.
