Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation: Develop robust solutions for monitoring, metrics infrastructure, and other critical components to support algorithmic trading operations.
• Technical Support: Provide direct technical support for handling live trading environments on Linux servers, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted trading activities.
• Problem Resolution: Utilize technical and analytical expertise to understand application and business functionality, identifying and resolving issues promptly.
• Database: Manage databases and proficiently write SQL queries to perform on-demand analytics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
• Application and Network Management: Install new applications, troubleshoot network problems, schedule upgrades, and optimize network performance to maintain a stable trading environment.
• Python Infrastructure Management: Oversee Python infrastructure related to airflow, pickles, logs monitoring, and alerting, and address any issues that arise.
• Airflow Management: Develop new dags (Python scripts) for airflow, improve existing ones, and enhance overall reliability to streamline trading workflows.
• Infrastructure Optimization: Efficiently manage and optimize infrastructure using tools like Ansible, docker, and other automation technologies.
• Cross-Team Support: Collaborate with other teams to provide administration and operational assistance for various projects.
• Proactive Monitoring: Implement proactive monitoring solutions to detect and address, potential problems and issues before they impact trading activities.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of trading systems, procedures, and workflows for reference and training purposes.
• Adherence to Regulations: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of global exchange rules and regulations, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legal requirements.
• Global Market Trading: Execute trades on the Global Exchange during the night shift, leveraging algorithmic trading strategies to capitalize on trading opportunities and optimize trading performance.
  
  

Requirements

• Experience and Education: 2-4 years of relevant experience in a DevOps role, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field.
• Requires trading in NSE and multiple markets across the globe.
• Good to have: Python Proficiency.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
• Automation and Data Management: Solid grasp of automation and data management tools to streamline trading operations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities to quickly address technical challenges.
• Good communication skills and effective time management to collaborate with teams and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ownership and Drive: Takes ownership of tasks and exhibits a proactive attitude.
