We are now seeking a skilled Full Stack Development Team Leader to lead a small, talented group of

developers while actively contributing to hands-on coding and technical delivery.

Role Overview

As a Full Stack Development Team Leader, you’ll combine strong technical skills with people leadership to

drive the success of a small team (2–3 developers). You will take ownership of delivering high-quality

software, coach and mentor your team, and collaborate closely with Product and Design to shape and build innovative solutions.

This is a hybrid role that requires leadership, team coordination, and active coding across both backend and frontend primarily using Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a small team of Full Stack Developers, providing guidance, support, and technical expertise.
• Drive best practices in coding, testing, and delivery to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Actively participate in coding tasks, developing features, APIs, and user interfaces alongside your team.
• Conduct regular code reviews and technical walkthroughs to uplift code quality and team capability.

Project Delivery

• Collaborate with Product Management and Design to define technical requirements and delivery plans.
• Manage sprint planning, backlog grooming, and prioritisation for the team.
• Identify and recommend improvements to processes.

Team Development

• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
• Support team members in their professional development through coaching, feedback, and career
• planning.

Key Requirements

Experience

• 4+ years of professional experience in full stack development with strong expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• 1–2 years of experience in a technical leadership, mentoring, or team lead role.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) with experience in Vue.js (or similar frameworks such as React) highly desirable.
• Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and cloud-based environments.
