Desktop Support Technician

A Fortune 50 financial services company is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their growing team in Vienna, Virginia.

We are looking for a highly skilled candidate with advanced interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service, and experience supporting C-Suite executives. The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional presence and maturity, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members in a "team-first" environment. Adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work setting is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow or equivalent).
  • Windows 10/11 experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Experience with desktop imaging technologies (MDT, LTI, ZTI).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office/365, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
  • HP, Canon, and Toshiba printer support experience.
  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting experience with hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with PC, Laptop, and Thin Client devices.
  • Experience in documenting operating procedures and adept ticket notation ability.
  • Experience with Asset Management & Inventory Control - Scanning, updating, tracking, collection, and overall management of NF assets to ensure accuracy and availability of equipment.
  • Perform employee moves to include equipment tear-downs, installs, and cable management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a large group setting.
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills.

  • A+ Certification.
  • Windows 10/11 Certification.
  • Citrix knowledge.
  • Awareness of financial institution security protocols.
  • SCCM knowledge.
